2012 Policy Priorities

Fulfilling our Responsibility to Care for Our Neighbors, Neighborhoods and All of God’s Creation

1. Preserve a viable safety net

LCPPM is committed, therefore, to preserving the safety net that protects our vulnerable neighbors, who are Christ among us (Matthew 25:31-45).

2. Monitor status and assess the impact of proposed MN Constitutional Budget Amendments

LCPPM will provide accurate analysis and non-partisan information about the implications and unintended consequences of budget amendments.

3. Defend clean energy policies - no rollbacks!

The legislature must maintain, strengthen and defend current clean energy policies.
