Faith Voices. Climate Justice

Urge President Obama to seek climate justice for all of God’s children and God’s Creation during the United Nations meeting on climate change in Durban in December 2011.

As people of faith, we are called to care for God’s creation and to seek justice for the most vulnerable of our neighbors. In less than a month, representatives of many nations will gather in Durban, South Africa to discuss our global response to climate change, an issue that is impacting people around the globe, especially those who live in poverty, and jeopardizing the future of all God’s creation.

Join other people of faith in asking President Obama and other leaders to commit to an agreement that will reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and protect the most vulnerable from the impacts of a changing climate that we can no longer avoid.

"It is true that we are justified by faith alone without works, but I speak of the true faith which after it justifies does not snore lazily."
